For the first time, I created a work as a video installation. Unlike my earlier video works, this piece is designed as a documentary, immersive experience. It invites viewers to step into a space of quiet observation, where presence and perception take centre stage. The video is shown inside a wooden walk-in box, reminiscent of a phone booth. A curtain marks the entrance, and a sensor triggers playback as soon as someone enters. When the visitor leaves, the video stops and resets – preparing for the next encounter. This responsive setup makes each viewing experience unique and personal. The installation was exhibited in June 2025 as part of Pride – A Collection at GAYT. The group exhibition brought together a vibrant and diverse range of queer artists. Alongside the installation, I also presented several photographs, including both new works and selected pieces from the previous year.
